Catherine Parker

Catherine Parker is running for re-election as legislator for Westchester County’s 7th district. Parker has a notable environmental record, including supporting and introducing several important bills, such as reducing the use of residual heating oil, implementing a green fleet policy, establishing an Energy Director and Office of Sustainability for Westchester, and co-sponsoring a bill to reduce plastic waste by serving single-use utensils only upon request. If re-elected, Parker will continue to push for nitrogen removal in waters and support consolidating the sewer system to address overflow discharge.
