Anna Kaplan

Anna Kaplan is seeking re-election to represent State Senate District 7. During her term in the senate, she has helped bring back  resources for clean water infrastructure and the environmental protection fund, while also passing critical legislation to address the threat of climate change and make our communities more resilient and sustainable. Moreover, she has co-sponsored many important environmental bills over my two terms in the Senate, including the CLCPA, the Green Amendment to the Constitution, legislation facilitating the build-out of rooftop and community solar, bills promoting investment in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, S.2758 which commits to 100% zero-emission passenger vehicle sales by 2035, and so much more. She plans to continue to  prioritize protecting our region’s environment and coastal areas which are so crucial to New York’s way of life and economy.
