Alison McLean Lane

Alison McLean Lane is running for re-election as the legislator of Albany County’s 14th district. Since her election in 2013, Lane has dedicated herself to preserving the environment. She has co-sponsored legislation to ban BPA baby bottles, Styrofoam, and plastic microbeads in personal products. Lane has also advocated for Albany County to apply for funding for additional charging stations for electric vehicles, resulting in 14 more stations being granted this year. As a member of the Mass Transportation Committee for Albany County, Lane has worked to incorporate solar panels into the new parking garage for Albany International Airport. Additionally, she co-sponsored legislation to reduce taxes and protect farmland in Bethlehem from development, preserving it as an open space area. If re-elected, Alison McLean Lane will continue her tireless efforts to promote sustainability and environmental preservation.
