Aaron Gladd, seeking election to the State Senate in District 43, has extensive experience in promoting initiatives to make New York more sustainable. He previously worked as Deputy Director of Public Policy under Governor Cuomo, where he assisted in developing investments to combat poverty and relief efforts in Upstate New York, advancing the State’s $100 billion infrastructure program. He also worked towards tackling the opioid epidemic and leading women’s equality programs. Before he worked as Deputy Director of Public Policy, Gladd was a Platoon Leader for the US Army, a Legislative Coordinator for the New York Senate, and a Legislative Aide for the US Congress.
Gladd is in full support of all of NYLCV’s priorities and initiatives for 2018, with an emphasis on public health, specifically keeping children safe from toxic chemicals. He will fight to improve water quality, particularly in Hoosick Falls, and is committed to combating emerging contaminants in drinking water and ensuring adequate resources for water infrastructure clean.
