Michelle Ostrelich

Michelle Ostrelich is running for re-election as the legislator in Schenectady County’s 3rd district. As legislator, Ostrelich has overseen the revitalization of sidewalks and bike lanes, the establishment of EV charging lots in parking areas, LED light conversions, and the adoption of a county and state government action plan. She is an avid supporter of policy and budgetary measures regarding resiliency and sustainability, the installation of solar panels via the Schenectady County Solar Energy Consortium, promoting hazardous and electronic waste collection, protecting nature preserves, and investing in infrastructure to ensure clean land, air and water. If elected, Ostrelich will continue to work on these projects and will also work towards lifting up the county to a silver rating in the Climate Smart Community program.
