Jessica Ottney Mahar
Jessica Ottney Mahar has worked for 20 years in the New York environmental not-for-profit sector. She is currently New York Policy & Strategy Director for The Nature Conservancy. Prior to her current position she worked at The Adirondack Council and Citizens Campaign for the Environment. Through her work at these organizations, and in partnership with stakeholders across the state, Jessica has led campaigns to secure billions of dollars in public funding for the environment, and enact new laws to protect natural resources and tackle climate change. Jessica also serves on the New York Advisory Board of the Land Trust Alliance and the Albany Pine Bush Commission Board. Jessica has a bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
