E. Hyde Clarke
Hyde is an associate attorney at the law firm of Young/Sommer LLC where he concentrates his practice on land use, zoning and development, as well as municipal and real property law. Hyde has experience with Brownfield redevelopment, telecommunications, the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), and renewable energy leasing and development. Prior to joining Young/Sommer LLC, Hyde interned with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and with the New York Governor’s Counsel Office.
Hyde is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and is involved with the Environmental Law Section. Hyde holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and his Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School. While at Albany Law School, Hyde earned the Gary M. Peck ’79 Memorial Prize for Environmental Law, served as the Co-Editor-In-Chief of the New York Environmental Lawyer, and was recognized by both the Environmental and Real Property Law sections of the New York State Bar Association.
