Buffalo Beaches Need Attention

Wendt Beach, about a half-hour south of downtown Buffalo, is a stretch of slightly rocky sand in a lovely cove. Bennett Beach is even better, with its dunes and white sand. But these natural wonders are compromised by a lack of care.

Restrooms at both Wendt and Bennett are closed weekdays, lifeguards only work weekends and concession stands are locked.
