Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease. Try to say that three times fast. EHD should become a household name in Albany County after the DEC discovered several deer in the area infected with the disease. The disease is passed though biting flies called midges that usually die in the late summer. With the warmer temperatures lately, they have stuck around. DEC: Let's focus on the communitiesSubmitted by Josh Abram on Tue, 2007-06-12 13:59.

You'll remember that round one took place a week ago, but mid-hearing something suddenly came up, and the questioning was scrapped for a later date.

Grannis Needs YouSubmitted by Stacy Feldman on Fri, 2007-03-23 11:16.
He needs all the support he can get right now. And we've made it easy for you to let the bigwigs up in Albany know that New York needs a DEC commissioner right now, and that Alexander "Pete Grannis" is highly qualified for the post. Why is this such a big deal?
