Throughout the legislative session, NYLCV tracks environmental legislation, who proposes, cosponsors, vote for or against it, assigning and taking away points for different actions. At the end of the session, the points are tallied to reveal each legislator's role in environmental leadership. The total score reveals the extent to which each elected official supports our priority issues. Not only informative for the general public in hodling legislators accountable, the scorecard is also a useful tool in the League's endorsement process.
