NYLCV Responds to Governor Cuomo’s Strong Support of Congestion Pricing

At A Better New York’s breakfast earlier today, Governor Cuomo expressed strong support of congestion pricing as the only realistic option to fund critical public transportation improvements.

Julie Tighe, President of the New York League of Conservation Voters, said, “I am encouraged by Governor Cuomo’s strong statement in support of congestion pricing this morning.  His leadership is a significant step forward in the fight to reduce traffic, improve public health, and raise much-needed funding for the MTA’s Fast Forward plan to fix the subway. We will continue to work with the Governor, our partners, and the Legislature to ensure this common-sense solution is adopted next session.”
