  • Will fight for funding for the research and development of renewable energy sources which will promote the creation of jobs upstate, safeguard national security and improve the overall quality of the environment
  • Supports legislation in the Clean Air Act that sets strong standards for pollution from power plants, especially for mercury
  • Will oppose the use of snowmobiles, jet skis, aircraft over-flights, and off-road vehicles in national parks and will support conservation programs in the 2007 Farm Bill
