Focus on job creation
and the Environmental Protection Fund
Who says a strong economy and a healthy environment are mutually exclusive?

NYLCV PAC -- New York's only state political action committee devoted to electing environmental leaders -- today unveiled our first two mailers of the election season.
The topic of both is job creation and the Environmental Protection Fund. Earlier this year, the Legislature voted to strengthen the EPF by phasing in unclaimed bottle deposits. That breakthrough was due, in large measure, to the work of Grisanti and Latimer, who championed the legislation in the Senate and Assembly, respectively. Both are running for State Senate on November 6th.
Check out our mailer for George Latimer by clicking above. The EPF is a centerpiece of New York's conservation efforts, helping to protect drinking water and wildlife habitat, building parks and funding recycling programs.
And it does a lot more, too. A recent study found that for every $1 invested in the EPF, $7 are returned to New York State.
Grisanti and Latimer are two prominent members of NYLCV PAC's Six Pack of environmental champions. NYLCV PAC is investing significant resources to get them elected -- and help make the environmental breakthroughs that New Yorkers want.
Keep an eye out for more mailers -- and more! -- over the next several days as Election Day nears.
