NYLCV's Congressional Campaigns Fire On All CylindersSubmitted by Dan Hendrick on Thu, 2012-06-21 13:46.
With the congressional primary coming up on Tuesday, June 26, NYLCV is pulling out all the stops for our green slate of endorsed candidates.
Our team has been phone-banking, going door-to-door and talking with NYLCV members about Meng's strong record on the environment. To find out where Meng stands on federal environmental issues, click here to check out her responses to our questionnaire. NYLCV's biggest campaign among the congressional primary candidates is for Charlie Rangel in the 13thd District in Manhattan and the Bronx.
We are sending a mailer to 30,000 households to make voters aware of Rangel's impressive environmental achievements. We will also be making two rounds of calls to voters and placing newspaper advertisements in the leading Spanish-speaking papers to support his re-election. Nuestro apoyo a Charlie en español! You can learn more about Rangel's record and vision for a greener future here. Now it's up to the voters to do their part. The polls will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. - click here to find your polling site in New York City. |
