Since her election to State Assembly in 2015, Pamela Harris has shown her commitment to bettering both those in her district and in the State of New York as a whole. She has gone to great lengths to ensure that New Yorkers have the opportunities that they need and that their environment can flourish alongside them.
This legislative session, Harris sponsored a bill to give tax credits to homeowners and businesses who invest in green infrastructure. Outside of the legislature, the organization that she founded, the Coney Island Generation Gap, (CIGG) works with the Partnership for Parks on a clean-up along Coney Island Creek and along the beach. The organization is also involved in neighborhood beautification efforts, from planting flowers throughout the neighborhood to cleaning up trash and removing graffiti in Kaiser Park.
Pamela Harris is a dedicated public servant and NYLCV is confident that if re-elected to State Assembly, her dedication will continue as she creates and passes more pieces of impactful legislation.
