VICTORY! State Budget Boosts Environmental Fund!

State leaders have reached a three-way budget agreement that will increase the state's investment in the Environmental Protection Fund by $19 million, providing $153 million for EPF programs across the state in the next fiscal year. Established in 1993, the EPF is New York State’s dedicated source of funding for critical environmental programs that protect what we love about New York – our clean drinking water, our magnificent parks, and our family farms.

2012 National Environmental Scorecard Released

NYLCV today unveiled scores for the New York delegation released this morning as part of the national League of Conservation Voters 2012 National Environmental Scorecard.

The Scorecard reflects the second session of the 112th Congress, a time when extreme weather events fueled by climate change were becoming all too common across the country.
